750pm: Down but not out, USA #8 Katie Dowty shows her speed and scores in the corner. Kosanke makes a difficult conversion. USA 17 Canada 35

742pm: RT @rugbycanada Canada running wild now, as Canada’s Sevens stars are all getting on the board. Andrea Burk races through a tired USA defense and dots down. Canada 35 USA 10, under 10mins to go.

741pm: Conversion is good, I might have miscalculated score. Canada 30 USA 10

738pm: USA knocks on at the scrum and now Canada has 5m scrum in USA territory. #12 Marchak scores for Canada. USA 10 Canada 26

737pm: Canada #7 Kish threatens the line but knocks it on. USA scrum.

730pm: #10 Ghislaine Landry for Canada in the corner, and the conversion by Burke is good. Canada 21 USA 10. 16 mins left.

726pm: Lots of ping pong kicking in this match, both teams are defending well though.

721pm: USA penalty and Canada attempts a kick at goal. The kick is missed. 25 mins left. USA 10 Canada 14

715pm: A streaking (not naked!) USA break from #15 Samantha Pankey is stopped on the Canada 22. The USA begin a slow forward drive, but are called for a forward pass.

713pm: Canada is making subs as the game re-starts to up the intensity, and the match re-starts with some huge hits. 30 minutes to play.

703pm: RT @rugbycanada A serious USA injury has the match stopped. Not sure what happened, but the stretcher is being brought on. I am trying to find out who the injured player is…

701pm: 2nd half kicks off, USA is probing the corners but Canada’s defense is holding strong.

653pm: Canada penalized again at the breakdown. Halftime. Canada 14 USA 10

643pm: Kick is wide by USA, Canada returns it in a huge way, gaining 80 meters.

641pm: Couple of reset scrums and Canada is penalized. USA will attempt goal again.

634pm: #12 Pam Kosanke for USA has the golden boot! USA 10 Canada 14. BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE! About 12 mins left in the half.

632pm: USA steals the scrum and drive towards the line. Penalty against Canada and USA will attempt a shot at goal.

630pm: Counter kick is knocked by Canada winger. Scrum to USA on 5m line. They move it to the backs & make a frantic series of half-breaks. Knocked on.

626pm: Scrum to USA and they are pinned down, clearance kick is no good. Canada’s #7 Jenn Kish dives on it and scores. Conversion is good. USA 7 Canada 14

625pm: Canada steals the scrum #12 Mandy Marchuk steps through a gap in the USA line. She screams for the line, but knocks on due to a big tackle.

624pm: The crowd roars as Canada beats the USA with a wide pass and run under the posts. But it is ruled a forward pass.

623pm: Another poor kick clearance, but this time for Canada. USA #6 Shaina Turley charges down the kick and scores in the corner. Kick is good. USA 7 Canada 7

621pm: The USA attempt a long penalty but #12 Pam Kosanke can’t get it between the posts. 22m dropout to Canada.

618pm: USA attempts to clear from their zone but fails. Canada recovers with #7 Jen Kish and she runs it all the way back for a try. #14 Andrea Burk slots the conversion. Canada 7 USA 0

611pm: Lots of kicking as we have seen throughout the tournament so far. Both back triangles are handling the pressure well though.

608pm: And it begins! Canada kicks off to USA immediately returns a probing kick to the corner. Just like against England, USA is at a break neck pace.

552pm: Up next is USA vs Canada, a rematch of the 2010 RWC 5th place match. 6pm CST, 7pmEST. NO LIVE broadcast.
