Fall 2011

Information/Background:

• Established in 1998 as a competitive women’s rugby club
• Moved to Division I after a very successful undefeated fall season.
• Ranked 14th in the nation for Division II and made it to the Northeast Rugby Union Championships.
• Recognized club sport at BU with an AT on hand at all times, and support from the school.
• We consistently field two sides at both practices and games with player ability ranging from rookies through national select side recruits.
• Stipend included

Looking for:

• Playing and coaching experience.
• At least two practice sessions per week. Possibility for additional indoor sessions and/or video sessions.
• Attendance at all games. (Usually Saturdays and occasional Sundays).
• Ability to coach players at many different levels – to teach fundamentals as well as more advanced techniques.
• Ability to coach both backs and forwards.
• Ability to provide structured, productive, and efficient practices
