Fallbrook Wins USA Sevens – High School Rugby Challenge

I had the pleasure of refereeing Fallbrook in a 7s exhibition match at Champagne Classic in March and was impressed with them then! They are already the reigning USA Rugby Girls HS 15s Champions and now they have been crowned the Girls 7s HS Champions at the USA Sevens Tournament as well.

The first annual USA Sevens High School Championship boasted some great programs including:

From the start, Fallbrook made a quick impact, cruising through pool play while outscoring opponents 102-5 (Catholic Memorial got the sole unconverted try). In the final they blasted Doylestown 41-3 to take the title. The future of Girls HS Rugby is bright and Fallbrook is the team to beat!
