USA Women’s Rugby U-20 National Team to assemble in Lake Placid during CanAms

The USA Women’s U-20 National Team is holding a week long training camp in Lake Placid this week, and will be playing two exhibition games as part of the CanAm Rugby Tournament. They will kick off the CanAm Tournament on Thursday July 26 with a game at 6pm at the Ken Wilson Field at Petrova School in Saranac Lake, and will follow it with a second game at the conclusion of the championship games in Bloomingdale on Sunday.

The last time the team assembled was to take the championship at the Women’s National Collegiate All-Star Championships in June. Camp is being held at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, with 36 players currently on the roster. Also in attendance are USA Rugby Coaching and Support Staff, including U-20 Head Coach Danielle Miller, U-20 Asst. Coach Austin Hall, USA Women’s Head Coach Pete Steinberg, and USA Forwards’ Coach Luke Gross.
